How to Play Wood Block Journey
Wood Block Journey is a Tetris-inspired puzzle game where the goal is to clear the board by forming lines using various wooden shapes made up of tiles in different configurations. To clear a row, you need to align shapes like a 4-tile row, T-shaped, L-shaped, or a single tile. When you fill a row completely, it disappears.
Each round of Wood Block Journey starts with a target score with the progress bar at the top of the screen that tracks how close you are to reaching that score. If you place shapes on the board in the right positions, the more likely you are to clear whole lines or entire 3x3 blocks. Once you hit the target and you pass the round, you unlock the next level on the Journey map. Your current score sits on the left side of the board, with your best score displayed just below it, so you always know how well (or not well) youāre doing.
Journey mode lays out its levels on a numbered map, and you work through them in order, with completed levels marked off as you go. You have a set of hearts that act as your lives, so if you fail a round, you will lose a life and the counter at the top of the map shows how many you have left. If a round slips away from you, the game offers a Second Chance before it's over. There is a timer that counts down and if you really donāt want to lose your progress, you while you can watch an ad and keep your current score or tap āNo, thanksā and end the round to start all over again.
If you want to see how youāre doing compared to other players, the leaderboards button on the Journey screen pulls up a ranked list of scores. You can find your position at the bottom. It's a nice extra push to keep clearing lines and climbing.
