Vanguard: Swarmfall

This is a thrilling top-down shooter with simple and intuitive controls: WASD to move, mouse for auto-aim and firing, Space for a limit-breaking dash, and K/Shift to trigger Bullet Time, allowing you to turn the tide in desperate situations!

Controls and Combat Mechanics:

Movement: Use WASD keys to control character movement.

Aiming & Shooting: Your character automatically aims and fires at the nearest enemy. You only need to focus on positioning and skill usage.

Dash: Press Spacebar to perform a quick dash, allowing you to instantly escape enemy encirclement or close in on targets. Dashing grants a brief period of invulnerability (Invuln); use it wisely to avoid lethal damage. There is a short cooldown (dashCD) after dashing. During a dash, colliding with low-health enemies will execute them instantly.

Bullet Time: Press K or Shift to activate Bullet Time.

Once activated, game speed slows down, giving you more time to react and plan your positioning.

Bullet Time consumes energy (btEnergy) and deactivates automatically when depleted. Energy regenerates over time.

Melee Attacks:

V Key: Trigger a melee combo.

F Key: Perform a flying kick.

Ultimate: Press R to unleash your powerful ultimate ability, dealing devastating damage to enemies or providing a key tactical advantage.

Support Skills: Use Z and X keys to trigger different support skills, providing extra assistance in combat.

Pause & Menu:

P or Escape: Pause the game and enter the pause menu.

I Key: Open the Inventory during combat to view your current equipment status (this page reuses the Armory interface). Press I or Escape again to close.

U or Escape: Close the upgrade options panel in the upgrade menu (unallocated upgrade points will be saved). You can also click the upgrade badge on the screen to open the upgrade menu.

Upgrade Selection: In the upgrade menu, use number keys 1/2/3 to select your desired enhancement options.
