This award-winning game will take you on an adventure full of danger and epic battles. You can choose from a range of character classes with unique abilities to suit your playing style, then join a guild to contribute to large-scale fights with your guild-mates and improve your ability to level.
Neverwinter has a focus on action-packed gameplay. The combat is based on a version of the fourth edition Dungeons and Dragons rules but altered for fast-paced action, beyond what you'd expect even for the typical MMORPG. This action-centric gameplay makes battles incredibly immersive and fun - and even more thrilling when playing alongside your guild or in PvP.
Each of the eight classes in Neverwinter has a primary and secondary ability unique to that class. Do you want to focus on strength stats first? Go for Barbarian. What if intelligence and wisdom is your play-style? Wizard is an excellent choice.
Each class's stats will affect whether you fill the role of DPS, tank, or healer. Here are all eight types with their primary ability:
- Barbarian - strength.
- Cleric - wisdom.
- Fighter - constitution.
- Paladin - constitution.
- Ranger - dexterity.
- Rogue - dexterity.
- Warlock - charisma.
- Wizard - intelligence.
The class you choose will be with you throughout the game, so make sure you pick one with a combat style and role that you like. You can read more about Neverwinter classes on the official wiki.
As you progress further in the game, you'll unlock new quests, gain the ability to use mounts for faster movement, and purchase companions for higher abilities in combat.
There's a plethora of achievements for bonus XP and special rewards throughout the leveling system. Leveling your character up will significantly enhance your power and the gear you can use, as well as your chance of receiving rare and very rare items to equip to your character.

Based in the Forgotten Realms, the city was regarded as the most cosmopolitan and civilized among all cities in Faerun. Initially, the cities name was Eigersstor, but was later translated to Neverwinter as per the Conthdathan translation.
The Neverwinter (videogame) story is set at a time when this beautiful city was plunged into chaos after the disappearance of the last lord of Neverwinter. The city has been left with various factions, battling for power, hoping to be the ones to take back control.
