Clockheart Merge

Clockheart Merge is a physics merge puzzler about a glass jar, a brass claw, and a great many small clockwork creatures that would very much like to become bigger clockwork creatures.

Drop a gearling. Land it on its twin. The two fold together into something heavier, louder and worth more — then you do it again, and again, while the pile climbs the whole time. Let it reach the danger line and the run is over.

Three tools for when the jar gets crowded

• Mine — loads into the claw like any other gearling, then blows a hole in the pile where it lands
• Gyro — tips the entire jar so the stack slides, rolls and resettles
• Magnet — matching gearlings reach for each other and merge on contact, arcing as they pull

Mystery gifts

Merge two mystery boxes and the machine pays out a free tool. They don't come along often.

Mouse

• Move to aim the claw, click to drop
• Hold and drag to line up the shot, release to drop

Touch

• Slide your finger to aim, lift to drop

Keyboard

• A / D or ← / → — move the claw
• Space — drop
