How to Play Mini Golf Club

You have a few choices to make when you start the game:

• Play Online: Jump into a multiplayer match against real players.
• Daily Hole: A special hole that resets every day, with a countdown timer showing when the next one arrives.
• Career: Work your way through 612 holes of solo play.
• Create: Build your own hole.
• Join: Enter a match or course someone else has set up.
• Best: Browse top-rated community creations.

You'll also find the Shop and Settings buttons in the bottom corner, plus a Discord link if you want to find the community.

Playing a Match

Hit Play Online and the game drops you onto the green, with the controls shown right on screen for your first hole. You can play with the keyboard, mouse, touch controls, or a controller.

Keyboard: Hold the Spacebar and use the Arrow keys or WASD to aim. The longer you hold, the more power builds. Release to shoot.

Mouse: Hold the Left Mouse button and move the mouse to aim. Release to shoot.

A power bar at the bottom of the screen shows your shot strength as a percentage. At low power, the ring around your ball glows yellow. At full power, the ring turns red, and a long red line extends from the ball showing your shot direction.

A few things to watch on screen:

• The hole counter in the top right shows your progress through the match (for example, 1/3 Cyber Core or 2/3 Frozen Flyer). Matches run through a short series of themed holes.
• The timer in the top left counts down from 60 seconds, so don't overthink your shot.
• The distance marker floats over the flag and tells you how far away the hole is (24m, 33m, and so on).
• Par is displayed on the left, so you know the target stroke count for the hole.
• Your opponent's name and score appear at the top of the screen, so you can keep track of your competition.

Most courses are surrounded by water, and overshooting the green means a lost stroke. Water isn't the only hazard, either. Courses throw ramps, tunnels, slopes, moving obstacles, sand traps, and even portals at you, plus boosters like wind zones and jump pads that push your ball around. Take the angles, walls, and obstacles into account before you fire.

Playing with Friends

You don't need an internet lobby to compete. Versus mode runs turn-based matches for up to 4 players on the same device, passing between turns, while Splitscreen divides the screen so up to 4 players can play at once. Both are easy ways to turn this into a couch game with friends and family.

Customizing Your Ball

Hit Customize on the main menu to choose colors, trails, and more:

• Hats: Dress your ball up in a baseball cap, bowler, sun hat, wizard hat, and more. The red baseball cap is free, and the rest cost 250 to 500 coins.
• Trails: Choose the effect your ball leaves behind as it rolls. Trail styles cost 500 coins each.
• Colors: Fine-tune the look with a full color picker. You can set separate colors for the ball itself, the start of the trail, and the end of the trail.

The Shop

Coins are the game's currency, and you earn them by playing, watching short videos, or buying them directly. The Shop offers coin packs ranging from 1,500 coins for 1.99 USD up to 60,000 coins for 49.99 USD, with the 12,000 coin pack marked as the most popular option.
