ildBlocks is a voxel sandbox adventure where you explore, craft, farm, and build a place to call home. Gather resources, make useful tools, and turn a patch of wilderness into your own cozy Homestead.

Explore forests, rivers, caves, and ruins. Grow crops, cook meals, furnish your shelter, and feed friendly creatures as you complete quests and unlock new recipes. Choose Peaceful difficulty for a gentler adventure, or prepare for the dangers that arrive after dark.

Prefer to focus on creating? Build Home gives you unlimited building materials and tools for walls, rooms, roofs, furniture, and gardens. Walk through your creations and save blueprints to reuse in your projects.

Play solo or invite friends into rooms for up to eight players. Build together, challenge one another in shared-world battles, or join a Red-versus-Blue Deathmatch in City Clash. Save your Survival worlds and Build Home projects, then return to keep creating.

Desktop — Survival and shared worlds:

  1. WASD: Move
  2. Mouse: Look around
  3. Space: Jump
  4. Shift: Sprint
  5. Ctrl or C: Crouch
  6. Hold left mouse button: Break blocks, gather resources, or attack
  7. Right mouse button: Place blocks or use the held item
  8. F: Interact
  9. E: Open Backpack and crafting
  10. 1–9 or mouse wheel: Select a hotbar slot
  11. J: Journal
  12. M: Map
  13. V: Switch first-person/third-person view
  14. Backtick: Toggle free cursor
  15. Esc: Pause menu


Build Home:

  1. B: Open the Build Catalog
  2. Left click: Place with the selected building tool
  3. R: Rotate
  4. X: Select the Remove tool
  5. Ctrl+Z: Undo
  6. Ctrl+Y: Redo
  7. Double-tap Space: Toggle flight in player view


Deathmatch:

  1. Left mouse button: Attack/fire
  2. Right mouse button: Aim/scope
  3. R: Reload
  4. Use the in-game How to Play guide for weapon selection, pickups, medkits, and other mode-specific actions.


Phone and tablet:

  1. Use the left joystick to move and drag the right side to look around.
  2. Tap to use the selected item; hold to break blocks.
  3. Use the on-screen buttons to jump, place, interact, and open the Backpack.
  4. Tap hotbar slots to select items.
  5. Build Home and Deathmatch show their own building and combat buttons.
  6. Play in landscape orientation.

These are default controls. Supported bindings can be changed in Settings → Controls. The in-game How to Play guide includes the complete controls for each mode.
