Typy.io is a multiplayer typing-territory .io game. Up to six players share a hex board of 91 keycap tiles, each carrying a word. You type the word on any tile touching your territory to claim it. Unclaimed tiles carry short 3-4 letter words, tiles held by a rival carry longer 5-7 letter words. Lose your last tile and you are out for the round. Rounds last 3 minutes, and the player with the most tiles wins, or the last one standing.
- Letter keys: type a word shown on a raised tile adjacent to your territory. The tile is claimed the moment the last letter lands. No Enter needed.
- Backspace: erase letters from the current word.
- Escape, Space, or Enter: clear what you have typed so far.
- Any letter also refocuses the typing box if focus has wandered. Wrong letters are rejected with a buzz and a shake.
