How to Play

Shoot to level up

Diep is a simple .io game set in a vast arena. You start as one basic level 1 tank. Venture around the map shooting various blocks to level up. It’s best to do this for a while before trying to take on other opponents, as each level up rewards you with an upgrade point to spend on one of 8 areas to upgrade.

Upgrade your Diep circle

There are 8 different stats you can upgrade. These are health regeneration, max health, body damage, bullet speed, bullet penetration, bullet damage, reload, and movement speed. Consider your choices carefully as you only have a limited number of skill points and these are harder to acquire as you level up.

A player may want to concentrate on their bullet damage and speed to give more firepower. Alternatively, a player could concentrate on health and regeneration to improve their survivability. Players earn more skill points as they do damage and level up.

Try different game modes

There is also a myriad of game modes available. The main mode is a free-for-all all - every player for themselves. Other game modes, however, include tag, maze, 2 teams, 4 teams, and domination. Try out the different game modes and see which ones suit your play style.

Don’t forget to choose your circle color and a suitable gamer tag too!
