Evolutionary Tribe is a strategic incremental game where you guide a civilization from the dawn of humanity into the future. You start in the Stone Age with nothing but your bare hands. Gather basic resources like wood and food to survive, then craft tools to increase your efficiency. As you build housing and expand your population, you can hire workers to automate resource gathering.
Management is key. Your workers need to eat. If your food supply runs out, your workforce will starve and stop working. Balance your economy, research new technologies like Agriculture and Mining, and unlock new eras. Can you advance from a simple tribe to a Modern Age empire?
Features
- Evolve through history: Progress through four unique eras, Stone Age, Bronze Age, Middle Ages, and Modern Age.
- Resource management: Balance the production of Wood, Stone, Food, Copper, Iron, Steel, and Gold.
- Survival mechanics: Unlike many idle games, you must manage food consumption. A starving population will not work.
- Prestige system: Use the Rebirth feature to reset your game in exchange for Spirit, granting permanent production bonuses.
Tips
Why did my workers stop working?
Check your food supply. Workers consume food every second. If you run out, the starvation alert appears and production halts until you gather more food manually.
How do I unlock the Quarry or Mine?
You need to craft specific tools first. Go to the Tools tab and craft a Pickaxe to unlock the Stone Quarry, or a Bronze Pickaxe to unlock the Copper Mine.
Controls
- Left Click = Interact with menus, gather resources, and buy upgrades
- Spacebar = Quick gather (Wood)
- 1 - 6 = Keyboard shortcuts to switch between tabs (Gather, Tools, Housing, Workers, Tech, Evolution)
- S = Save the game manually
- Esc = Open Settings or go back
