You are not the player of a deck, you are a card in it.

Slot modifiers into your own body and their numbers become yours. Every attached card runs hot, gives less as it wears, and burns out. Cut it before it does and it goes back cold, ready to come around again.

Four rooms, then the same four come back harder - for ever. Between laps you take one thing: your health back, or a card to keep. Nothing else heals you.

How deep can you get before the line stops answering?

Everything is a tap, on mouse or touch alike.

Tap the deck to draw, tap a card in hand to arm it, and tap a bay to slot it in. Dragging works as an alternative, pull a mod from your hand onto a bay, with the drag starting after 12 pixels of movement. Quick spells can't be dragged; they're cast with a tap. Tap an enemy to aim at it. Buttons and the dial are taps too.

To read any card at full size, double-tap it, this works on cards in your hand, on the board, and on enemies. A double-tap registers within 340ms and 24 pixels. On touch you can also long-press for 450ms to do the same thing, and on mouse you can right-click a hand card instead. These are one feature offered three ways, not three separate controls.

The scroll wheel scrolls the log while it's open, and is otherwise ignored.

Esc or Space pauses mid-room, giving you the option to resume or end the run. Pausing isn't available at the lap gate.

Mobile is fully supported. No gesture in the game requires a mouse.
